Abdulmumin Jibrin Exposes Bogous Allowances xetera,in the House of Representatives

'I will celebrate the 56th independence of Nigeria by further exposing systemic corruption using running cost/allowances of the House of Representatives. The amount (about 10 million naira) received monthly at present by members is the least since the regime of this fraud called running cost started.

At various time in the past Hon Members have received between about 10 to 20 million naira averagely per month and often pocket the money. Iam found of telling my colleagues in the House that only international footballers like Mikel Obi are known to legally earn such colossal amount monthly.
A dirty means was devised to receive part of the four-year cumulative of such money up front. So a member can take up to 200 to 400 million naira at once. No body is saying money should not be allocated to run activities of members. The problem is that the money is diverted for personal use, period!
You can now understand my disappointment, frustration and anger when I listened to the shameless Chair Ethics, Hon Osai and Media, Hon Namdas and crooks like Hon Hembe, defending the fact that I was suspended because i falsely claim there exists systemic corruption in the House-Fraudsters!
They open their stinking mouths and talk about defending the institution of the House as if they are not the ones that have and are destroying the institution. The running cost allowances fraud is what Speaker Dogara used to blackmail members to get support and ignore all the grievous allegations I raised.
All Speaker Dogara did was to tacitly threaten members at the caucus meetings the night before our resumption by reminding them of the running cost they pocket. That was why when Prof Bolaji Owasanoye and his colleagues at PACC asked me why are my colleagues silent, I answered-most of them (us) are "beneficiaries".
If Mr President had jumped into the matter at the early stage, trust Nigerians, they would have concluded that the Presidency is using me to fight the House. Such perception and blackmail would have been difficult to deal with. The silence of Mr President on this matter is a blessing in disguise.
Any body who can reach Mr President should inform him that in the face of several threats to my life and that of my family, one of the security agency had sudden withdrawn their officers protecting me. This has made me vulnerable in the face of such persistent threats. I have however taken my destiny in my own hands. It is a struggle iam committed to and no amount of threats or intimidation will deter me.
I will use this period to convert my memoir into a book, teach at the university and enroll for a second PhD with research focus on Economic Diversification.

Zuckerberg adds Hausa Language to Facebook

Hausa, one of Nigeria’s major language, has been added to Facebook by Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of the social media platform. According to a post on his wall, Mark reckons that more than one billion users communicate using languages other than English, hence the need to expand the horizon and accommodate other lingua franca.He wrote: “Facebook is now available in more than 100 languages with more than one billion people using a language other than English! 

Today we added Fula, Maltese and Corsican.  Over the last decade, hundreds of thousands of people around the world have worked together to find the right translations for words and phrases in the Facebook interface. “Because the idea of a “Like” in English may mean something different in Arabic or Japanese. “This matters because for people to share what matters to them and see what matters to the people they care about, they need services available in a language they know.

Mark Zuckerberg made this known while speaking on the first day of his visit to Nigeria, which began in Lagos state; the visit was his first to Africa. He met with youths who associate themselves with technology companies to further encourage them while a statement by the Facebook company said Zuckerberg went to Nigeria for a business research which culminated in meeting with Nigeria Vice President and President.

Philippines President liken himself to Hitler

President Rodrigo Duterte has been fighting a war against drug users and sellers in the country. He has been largely criticized by several international organizations and he does not seem to care for other’s opinion.

In a speech Friday in his hometown of Davao City, Duterte said, "Hitler massacred 3 million Jews. Now there is 3 million, what is it, 3 million drug addicts (in the Philippines), there are.

"I'd be happy to slaughter them. At least if Germany had Hitler, the Philippines would have (me). You know my victims, I would like (them) to be all criminals, to finish the problem of my country and save the next generation from perdition."

The spokesman for Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte sought to clarify the leader's controversial comparison of his war against suspected drug offenders to Adolf Hitler's extermination of Jews during World War II.

"The President recognizes the deep significance of the Jewish experience especially their tragic and painful history," presidential spokesman Ernesto Abella said a statement. "We do not wish to diminish the profound loss of 6 million Jews in the Holocaust -- that deep midnight of their story as a people."

Abella said Duterte's opponents first brought up the Hitler reference before the May presidential election to "gain political mileage."

"The President's reference to the slaughter was an oblique deflection of the way he has been pictured as a mass murderer."

The statement said Duterte likewise drew an "oblique conclusion that while the Holocaust was an attempt to exterminate the future generation of Jews, drug-related killings as a result of legitimate police operations ... will nevertheless result in the salvation of the next generation of Filipinos."

Abella said the Presidential Palace "deplores the Hitler allusion of President Duterte's anti-drug war as another crude attempt to vilify the President in the eyes of the world."

Robin Williams' Widow Susan Schneider Williams Pens Heartbreaking Essay About His Final Months

It has been two years since Robin Williams died, and his widow, Susan Schneider Williams, continues to work to spread awareness of the brain disease that led to his suicide, Lewy Body Disease.

In a heartbreaking essay titled "The Terrorist Inside My Husband's Brain," Susan writes about her late husband's final few months and how the disease that he didn't know he had consumed his life. Sharing that Robin's many symptoms didn't fit any one diagnosis, Susan explains that he had to deal with not only physical limitations such as heartburn and poor sense of smell but also mental incapacitation.

"By wintertime, problems with paranoia, delusions and looping, insomnia, memory, and high cortisol levels—just to name a few—were settling in hard," she writes. "Psychotherapy and other medical help was becoming a constant in trying to manage and solve these seemingly disparate conditions."

while filming Night at the Museum 3. "This loss of memory and inability to control his anxiety was devastating to him," she writes. One month before he died, Robin was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, and while he found comfort that there were some answers, he continued to struggle.

"He kept saying, 'I just want to reboot my brain.'" Susan recalls. "When we were in the neurologist's office learning exactly what this meant, Robin had a chance to ask some burning questions. He asked, 'Do I have Alzheimer's? Dementia? Am I schizophrenic?' and when his doctor said 'No,' Robin was unsatisfied."

Although his condition continued to worsen, Susan recalls what would be their final day together—and how it gave her hope that his health would improve. "We did all the things we love on Saturday day and into the evening, it was perfect—like one long date," writes Susan. "By the end of Sunday, I was feeling that he was getting better. When we retired for sleep, in our customary way, my husband said to me, 'Goodnight, my love,' and waited for my familiar reply: 'Goodnight, my love.' His words still echo through my heart today."

She ends the essay by thanking all the doctors and scientists who continue to research LBD. "Thank you for what you have done, and for what you are about to do."

Trump nastier than Clinton

Donald Trump is turning up the heat on his attacks against Hillary Clinton about her husband's past infidelities after a rocky week for his campaign.

"She's nasty," Trump told The New York Times in an interview published Friday night, "but I can be nastier than she ever can be."

The comments were part of a wide ranging interview in which Trump also touched upon his marriages, his recent late-night Twitter rant and his performance at the first presidential debate.

"Hillary Clinton was married to the single greatest abuser of women in the history of politics," Trump told The Times. "Hillary was an enabler, and she attacked the women who Bill Clinton mistreated afterward. I think it's a serious problem for them, and it's something that I'm considering talking about more in the near future."

Angelina does not want Brad prosecuted!!!

According to report on TMZ, Angelina does not want Brad to face criminal charges for getting physical with 15-year-old Maddox on their private jet. We're told she'll go "radio silent" if authorities make a move to build a case against her estranged husband.

Angelina was forthright with the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services, telling social workers Brad struck Maddox (in the face).

Other sources say Brad did not strike his son in the face, but instead lunged at him and Angelina got in the way, causing Brad to inadvertently make contact with the boy's shoulders.

Angelina has a singular focus ... protecting her kids, not punishing Brad.

DCFS does have the authority to recommend custody restrictions to the dependency court, although it's looking more and more like it will not reach that stage. 

Furthermore, given there were no injuries to Maddox and conflicting accounts of what happened, prosecution is also unlikely.

Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife has announced pop singer, 2Face Idibia the ambassador of his new initiative, Violence Free World.

The Ooni made the announcement on Thursday, September 29, 2016 in his palace when he unveiled the singer to his subjects and the entire public.

Also unveiled as co-ambassadors of the initiative were comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka 1st and entertainment entrepreneur, Cally Ikpe.

Speaking at the event, the Ooni urged the new ambassadors to take his trust in them seriously as he believes they have achieved so much that they can make positive impacts in preaching a violence free world.

Reo Omokri Advises Buhari Against Sale of National Assets...Volume I

Former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has advised President Muhammadu Buhari against selling national assets to get Nigeria out of the current recession.Just on Wednesday the 28th of September, 2016, the World Economic Forum released its Global Competitiveness Report and whereas a number of African nations like Kenya (of whom we are very quick to compare ourselves positively) improved in the Global Competitiveness Index rankings, Nigeria slipped three places and is now ranked 127 out of 138 nations.

To put it murky, only 11 nations (many of them war torn) are worse than Nigeria in terms of doing business! Two years ago Nigeria was Africa's fastest growing economy. Today, she does not even feature in Africa's top ten most competitive nations! But when you point these out, the response is to blame Goodluck Jonathan under whom our economy blossomed like never before.

When you waste 16 months playing the blame game should you be surprised that investors are playing the disappearing game and running away from your economy?

And what has been the result? A recession. Now, the thing is that rather than face the recession frontally and ideate on how to end it, their administration, characteristically, has only one response: Blame Jonathan! As my Warri peeps would say-una no dey tire!

Today, the Naira has exactly half the value it had when former President Jonathan handed over power to President Buhari yet we have not gotten to half of this administration's first tenure!

If there is anything you should not be doing during a recession it is complaining. Recessions bow to solutions not complaints! But I do apologize. It is not exactly true that thus administration has not come up with a solution. It has. Sell of our national assets!

If I say that I was astounded by the news that the Muhammadu Buhari administration is toying with the idea of selling off Nigeria's national assets, I could probably qualify for a place in the Guinness Book of Records for understatement of the year!

Nigeria is going through her toughest recession ever and the government's response is the intellectually lazy one of selling our national assets! Somebody pinch me because I may as well be in a dream. I take that back. A nightmare this is!

First of all those in government need to understand that it is unwise thing to sell your assets in a recession because you will not get value for it. It is like selling your house while the real estate market is down. The only type of buyers you are going to attract are exploiters and shysters!

Of course a man like Aliko Dangote would advise government to sell its assets. Mr. Dangote did not become the richest African by being nice! I have met him in the flesh. He became the richest Black man in the world by being shrewd! And ever since the Buhari economy reduced his wealth by about $3.5 billion and removed him from Forbes Top 100 richest people in the world.(Story Continues in Volume II) 

CBN Governors Wife Mrs Margaret Emefiele released!!!

Mrs. Margaret Emefiele, the wife of the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, has been released by her kidnappers.

Sources at the Police High Command told our correspondent Margaret and four others were released around 1am on Saturday (today).

Margaret, three women and a driver were attacked on Thursday along the Benin-Agbor Road and dragged into a nearby bush while their vehicle was abandoned.

The kidnappers were said to have demanded a ransom of about N100m.

A police source said, “The kidnappers released the victims around 1am. We found them around the bush beside the expressway where they were kidnapped. Investigations are ongoing.”

The reportage of this story was delayed by Mainstream media houses Friday due to an appeal from the Emefiele family given the sensitivity of the negotiations for her release from the kidnappers yesterday.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) have welcomed their second child, a source confirms to PEOPLE.

Lively gave birth in New York. No further details — including the baby’s sex and name — are known. Reps for the couple could not be reached for comment.

The new addition joins big sister James, who is 22 months old.
