Esama’s and Mantu’s Royal Wedding

Esama of Benin's daughter weds in Royal grand style yesterday; September 24 marked a special day in Benin, Edo state, as the Esama of Benin gave out his daughter’s hand in marriage! The traditional marriage ceremony of Umar Mantu and Orobosa, daughter of Esama of Benin, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion and his Jamaican born wife, Lady Cherry Igbinedion. 

Umar Mantu, who is the son of former Deputy Senate President, Sen. Ibrahim Mantu, and Orobosa, the daughter of Esama of Benin, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, had their traditional wedding yesterday amidst funfair and royalty display. 

The wedding is scheduled to take place in three major cities. The first phase  held yesterday in Edo State. The second phase takes place in Abuja and it will be rounded off on October 7, 2016 with a Wedding Fatiha. A Wedding Dinner will be held in South Africa on October 22, 2016.
