The American people weren't the only one surprised by Hillary
Clinton's impromptu, now viral dance moves during the first presidential debate.
Turns out, she was too!
Stopping by The Ellen DeGeneres Show Friday, the Democratic
nominee took time to dish on her headline-grabbing shimmy. "I knew that I
said, 'Woo!' I knew that, but I didn't know that I did the little shimmy to go
along with it," Clinton explained. "And then afterwards I saw it and
now people are always saying, 'Do the shimmy, do the shimmy,' you know?"
Another moment during the second, and most recent, debate that had
eager voters gathered around the water cooler Monday morning? Donald Trump's
onstage presence, which Hillary likened to being stalked.
Clinton told Ellen DeGeneres that "because of the revelation
of the public video and everything that came out on Access Hollywood, he was
really all wrought up and you could just sense how much anger he had. And, so
he was really trying to dominate and then literally stalk me around the
stage."
She continued, "I would just feel this presence behind me and
I thought, 'Whoa, this is really weird.' So I was just trying to stay
focused."
Because it's been so unpredictable up 'till now that I'm not
taking anything for granted. We've got to work really hard for the next three
and a half weeks because who knows? Who knows what can happen."
