English Premier League Weekend Review

Arsenal 3-Swansea 2
Arsenal keep winning, barely, even when they make things extraordinarily difficult. This was a game that showed off the best and worst sides of Arsene Wenger's team as they turned what should have been a comfortable win into a painfully nervous afternoon. Arsenal led 2-0 and 3-1 and seemed in full control for periods only to have to desperately hang on to a one-goal lead with 10 men for the last 20 minutes.

Granit Xhaka was the main culprit for the Gunners as he first gifted Gylfi Sigurdsson a goal in the first half and then was sent off for a wild mistimed plunge at Modou Barrow. The straight red card may have been harsh, but it was a stack reminder of the Switzerland international's poor disciplinary record. Nevertheless, the win maintains a six- league game winning streak for Arsenal and gave new Swansea manager Bob Bradley a tough entertaining introduction to English football.
Arsenal currently second on goal difference by Manchester City on the  EPL table.

MOM: Theo Wallcot(Two Goals)

Manchester City 1-Everton 1
Sergio Aguero won't be taken off penalty-taking duties at Manchester City despite missing two spot-kicks in the space of five days. The Argentina striker, who was a second half substitute in the 1-1 draw with Everton on Saturday, saw his penalty saved by goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg, who also kept out a Kevin De Bruyne penalty in the first half.
Aguero also had a penalty saved on Tuesday when Argentina where beaten 1-0 in a World Cup qualifier.
Manchester City currently top(1st) on the table by goal difference, same points with Arsenal.

Chelsea 3-Leicester City 0
Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Victor Moses were all on target for Chelsea as they brushed aside Leicester City with a 3-0 victory at Stamford Bridge.
Costa and Hazard bagged first-half goals while Moses scored late on for the Blues, who were good value for the win and took control of the game from the off as Premier League champions Leicester failed to create much of note throughout.
Chelsea raced into the lead inside just seven minutes as Nemanja Matic flicked on a corner at the near post, with Costa arriving unmarked in the middle to fire past Kasper Schmeichel for his seventh Premier League goal of the season.Chelsea currently 5th on the EPL table.
